We all know the traditional treat to celebrate St David’s Day is with Welsh Cakes. Try our tasty recipe I know you will enjoy,

Place 454g/1lb flour,200g/7ozs half fat butter, 112g/4ozs caster sugar into bowl, and rub together until mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add 168g/6ozs sultanas and mix together with 2 medium sized eggs to a rolling consistency. If too dry add a small amount of water. Roll out to about quarter an inch thickness and use a two and half inch cutter to make approximately 48 cakes. Coat bakestone with one calorie cooking spray and cook Welshcakes until golden brown.
