Thanks to Victoria for sharing her idea for using the leftover brown meat of the turkey. Simply shred meat and pop into non stick pan seasoning with Chinese 5 spice. When warmed through drizzle over runny honey and turn up heat and cook until crispy. Great for buffet or as a filling for a tortilla bread wrap with sweet chilli sauce. Thanks Victoria your a star.


Classes for the New Year Start on Thursday 2nd January.

First Slimtone class for the New Year will be in Masonic Hall Maesteg on Thursday 2nd January at 5.30pm.  There will also be a class on Friday 3rd January at Llys Faen Bridgend at 10.00am.  (Opposite old Tesco Store in Quarella Road.)   


Just want to share a few more ideas that we have had in classes this week. Victoria’s recipe for using the leftover turkey was really popular and so easy to make. Simply shred the brown meat and warm through seasoning with Chinese 5 spice. Drizzle over some runny honey turn up the heat for approx. 2 minutes until meat is crispy. Serve in a buffet over the festive season or delicious as a snack meal served in a brown bread wrap drizzled with sweet chilli or plum sauce. Will share more ideas with you soon.
