Congratulations to everyone who took part in our competition and for the tremendous weight losses in the classes this year. A special mention to Tony in our Maesteg class who has lost 4 stone since August and to Emily from the Garw class who looked fab in our recent Christmas Dinner. Also congratulations to Susan from our Ogmore class pictured here in our dinner at the Masonic Hall. Sue lost over three stone in three months and has maintained this loss for nearly 10 years and as you can see is looking fab. Have a wonderful Christmas and classes start back from Friday 2nd January 2015. Can I remind everyone if you have any tempting goodies left after the holiday bring them into class to be distributed to the local food banks.
Congratulations to all our members for their excellent weight losses during January.
However, if you are still looking for motivation to get back to class after the Christmas Break then come along to the Masonic Hall on Thursday evening 10th February from 5.30pm
Several of our success stories will be visiting the session telling us all their ideas, favourite recipes on the Lifestyle Plan etc I know you will find them inspiring as Julie lost the eight and half pounds which crept on over the holidays in only 3 weeks, Jan will be telling you how much better she is feeling after losing three stone while running a successful cafe and making the cakes…… Lisa who has lost 6 stone will be bringing her before photographs and I can promise you will not think it is the same person. So if you want to get back into your weight loss plan this is the evening you will find the motivation to do it.
We will also have a buffet with lots of healthy options to sample. Please try and make this special evening and there will also be a promotion with FREE joining on that evening for family and friends.
Look forward to seeing you.
Thanks to all our Slimtone members who made our annual dinner such a success. I was so pleased to hear all the compliments from so many on what a fantastic time was had by everyone. Jane and her team who did the catering provided an excellent meal. David and his disco had everyone dancing the night away as you can see by the attached. If you could not make it a special Merry Christmas to you all and look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year the first class is on Tuesday 4th January.
Thanks to all the Slimtone members for making our classes so very successful. Also, to our lecturers and all the helpers who make up the Slimtone team. It is always great to see so many of our target members coming along on a regular basis to check on their weight. They are an inspitation to everyone at the class. They all agreed during our celebrations this week that visiting the meetings on a regular basis is the secret of maintaining their weight loss. Gail Adams at our Maesteg Class is a wonderful example having lost over 5 stone over 20 years ago and is still a familiar face at The Masonic Hall Maesteg. Thanks to everyone once again for making Slimtone such a success
